Through Self Help Group, Yuva Kalyan Parishad is providing employment and self employment opportunity to women not only in Bihar but also in Jharkhand, which is improving the economic condition of women. Women are being motivated to mobilize, Empower, become self-reliant and secure livelihood. In Bihar and Jharkhand, the SELF HELP GROUP is being formed and funding is done by CSR fund.

As our constitution does not make any discrimination between men and women. They both are equally entitled for education, property rights and right to social equality, but in reality, though society being developed enough women are still deprived of their rights. This a major reason behind women's illiteracy. The situation is even worse in rural areas. Due to illiteracy women are unaware of their basic rights and their economic condition is detrimental.

Therefore, to address this issue and for economic empowerment of women, Yuva Kalyan Parishad has linked them to SHGs and skill training programs. In which women are trained in accordance with their interests. Training programs include stitching, making pickles, papad, various eatables like Adauri. After training the Ministry of Labour, Government of India awards them with training certificates. After such trainings women become capable for being employed or can undertake self-employment thus contributing to economic progress of their families.
