Expansion Of E-Governance Through RTI
Today in our country, various government schemes is being run at panchayat level, state level and for needy people Every year thousands of crores are being spent. But because of widespread corruption these schemes cannot be properly implemented and their benefits could not be reached to the needy. The biggest reason behind this is the lack of information , fear and hesitation. Moreover, reprimand of officials in offices. Thus, the gap was created between government and the people. Yuva Kalyan Parishad made people aware in villages about the usage of RTI as a tool to fight corruption and ignorance.
We also encouraged people to use E-GOVERNANCE to procure information about schemes , facilities , development works related to people and their areas information on funds and their utilization etc. A proper training session and workshops were organized providing them basic methods to procure information.
ACHIEVEMENTS
1.The officials in villages became more accountable towards their duties.
2. Awareness created vigilance thus corruption declined.
3. E-Government brought public services to citizens on their schedule and their venue.
4. Technological advancement was witnessed in villages.
Free Employment Exchange Programme
Unemployment in India is a complex problem with numerous overlapping and intertwined causes; however, it is possible to identify several key causes. Understanding the causes of unemployment is the first step in beginning to rectify this major problem and creating a society in which everyone is able to find a sustainable livelihood for themselves and their families.
For addressing the problem of unemployment government opened EMPLOYMENT EXCHANGE CENTRES in every districts , villages and blocks. The objective was to create a database of the unemployed section within the society and to create job opportunities on basis of knowledge , qualification and skills. But the desired result cannot be achieved due to unawareness regarding such centers , incapacity in job creation , registration and renewal procedures etc. Many employment exchange centers became non-functional due to this.
YUVA KALYAN PARISHAD provided assistance to these centres through data collection , creating awareness among unemployed about their benefits , time to time updation on jobs and employment. Thus bridging the gap between government and unemployed. The organization also assisted unemployed in getting employed in various sectors.
ACHIEVEMENTS
1. As YUVA KALYAN PARISHAD has high reachability in every villages and blocks . The employment exchange boards were provided data which was authentic and helped in formulation of various schemes for unemployed area wise.
2. As the data provided had various segments like Literacy level , skills , qualification , working experience , social status etc. The most needy was segregated in various regions and quick assistance was given to them. This resulted in upliftment of their living standard.
3. Our organization shared this data to private organizations and companies and created a network for jobs in unskilled sectors for those having no education qualification.
Jan Siksha Abhiyan
Jan Siksha Abhiyan is an initiative to educate all and especially those deprived class who reel under poverty and starvation. Education is the key to overall human development and improving the educational scenario is essential for its population. Social access has two key components. One is equity, which means that all person should have equal access to, in and through elementary education to realize their potential and aspirations, and the other one is ensuring equity, means not only creating equal opportunities, but also enabling conditions in which socially excluded person like students from SC/ST communities ,tribals , depressed classes etc. can avail the opportunity to receive education. It may be possible only if we opt the concept of model counselling center in each district of the state.
The question is what percentage of population avail these facilities provided to them. Owing to this fact many talented students are deprived of the visionary plan of government due to lack of information regarding counselling & non availability of counselling center at district level those students belonging to Tribal community became puppet at the hands of Maoist /Naxalite resulting in ruining of their future. The trible a youth do not have any knowledge about valuable and reputed schemes of government, Eventually, they are forced to suffer with unemployment and ignorance.
YKP intends to provide free technical education to most depressed and downtrodden. Giving them a proper information on the benefits of education , its impact and effects. Thus maximization of free of cost technical and basic education to the youth.The schemes which can change their lives like Kaushal Vikas Yojana , Skill Development Training Programme , Scholarship schemes etc. will be explained in detail and methods to avail their benefits.A
ACHIEVEMENTS
1. Under JAN SIKSHA ABHIYAAN till 2016 more than 3000 students belonging to Depressed and most Backward class in Bihar were provided free Professional education like Engineering , BBA , MBA , MCA , BCA , B.Ed etc .
2. YKP was authorized to link students from SC / ST community in Bihar to Scholarship Scheme for Engineering courses , the organization selected and enrolled students to various Engineering colleges across India.
3. Within a short period of 3 years we created a huge strength numbering 585 Block and Village Coordinators from 38 districts and 540 blocks which is commendable.
4. YKP received incitation from IHRO ( International Human rights Organization) for its dedicated work.
5. Appreciation was received from various prestigious universities for its work under Jan Siksha Abhiyaan.
6. Students from SC / ST communities were given CCC courses ( Course on Computer Concepts ) to undertake various government / non government open competitive examinations like SSC , Railways , Banking etc.
7. YKP has been authorized by NIELIT for CCC training center. The pledge is to maximization of Digital literacy.
Skill Development Training Programe
Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development in a country. As opposed to developed countries, where the percentage of skilled workforce is between 60% and 90% of the total workforce, India records a low 5% of workforce (20-24 years) with formal vocational skills.
To rapidly scale up skill development efforts in India, by creating an end-to-end, outcome-focused implementation framework, which aligns demands of the employers for a well-trained skilled workforce with aspirations of Indian citizens for sustainable livelihoods.
Under this Yuva kalyan Parishad gives training to different sections of people in society. The students are given training under National Digital Literacy Mission(NDLM),Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas yojya (PMKY) , SHG for women , National urban Livelihood Mission (NULM).
Social Change Through Social Impact
Every class in society consist of caste and religion, including the people living in the community are equally entitled to live their lives with rights enshrined in our Constitution. And their livelihood to a large extent, is the duty derived from the traits of the constitutional provisions.
There are lots of problems in our society .90% of these problems can be easily addressed if we cooperate and unanimously try to resolve them, keeping our selfish motive away. The capability we have is being unutilized due to self – centered approach. The desires ,wants and development is limited to our small circle comprising of family members and relatives.
Normally in any village locality drinking water ,early education, law on illegal traffic trafficking, community building etc. are major concerns. But no attention is being paid. The villages are in miserable condition . We need to realize the Gandhian dream which was “ Self Sufficiency of villages”.
We can altogether solve the problems of majority through small funds at our disposal. The representative be roped in without having any official expense. The unification can be done through participatory module helping the major chunk of the country’s population.
Just the need is Trust, Mutual Support, and Positive Approach.
